Dr Jessica Simons Psychology provides online counselling sessions via Telehealth. Dr Jessica Simons is a Melbourne based clinical psychologist who practices evidence-based and innovative therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Past Reality Integration. Based on your previous experiences, and with the guidance of Jessica, you get to choose which treatment method is best suited to you. Jessica will provide you with the lifelong tools you will need to help yourself. Jessica specialises in treating adults and teens with:

Jessica also provides Telehealth supervision sessions to clinicians.

Dr Jessica Simons Psychology offers 50 minute Telehealth appointments to both clients, for therapy, and clinicians, for supervision. Appointments are $295 each, with rebates available where applicable.
Payments are to be made via direct debit within 7 days.

Dr Jessica Simons is a Senior Clinical Psychologist based in Melbourne, with a range of qualifications including from both Cambridge and Oxford Universities, as well as the University of Western Australia, where she obtained the Dale Cook Scholarship for “academic excellence and work experience credentials”. She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is both a Medicare and Private Health Care service provider.

 

For over 15 years Jessica has gained experience in a variety of private, government and university settings. Jessica has had specialist training, including Enhanced CBT (CBT-E) and Family Based Therapy, for treating the full spectrum of eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating and assisting with weight loss. In addition, Jessica has further international training for treatment-resistant (eating) disorders using a highly successful, innovative therapeutic approach, Past Reality Integration (PRI). Jessica is also a fully qualified nutritionist.

 

Jessica also specialises in the treatment of anxiety, including panic attacks, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, PTSD and generalised anxiety disorder. She has also had specialist training in Positive Parenting Programs (Triple P) and is interested in helping those with parenting, depression, sleep, and adjustment disorders.

 

She is passionate about providing the highest standards of psychological care to adults and adolescents using evidence-based treatments, including CBT, CBT-E, and Mindfulness, as well as more long-term exploratory psychotherapy, and innovative alternative therapeutic approaches, such as, PRI, for treatment-resistant disorders.

 

Jessica is an accredited Clinical Psychologist Supervisor who has provided supervision to Provisional Psychologists and Clinical Psychology Registrars through the University of Western Australia and has been an e-learning advisor to Swinburne University. Jessica has developed an anxiety management program; has published peer-reviewed literature; and has taught Psychology modules to post-graduate psychology students. Jessica is committed to researching alternative, novel, promising and innovative therapeutic modalities for the continued improvement and treatment of mental health disorders.

 

Jessica has a warm, supportive, and adaptable style to meet the differing needs of both her long- and short-term clients. Jessica welcomes adults and adolescents who are experiencing mild to severe anxiety, mood disorders, sleep and eating disorders; as well as personal, interpersonal, coping, and adjustment difficulties.

Jessica has also published peer-reviewed papers on Anorexia Nervosa treatments and Autism.
